Vernon Beebe, 68, formerly of Lewis, died January 22, 1983 at Haines City, Florida. He was a graduate of the Lewis High School in 1931. His father was a rural mail carrier and his mother was a former Lewis teacher. Surviving are his wife, Margaret, and five children. Funeral services and burial were in Florida.
