Obituary

Mrs. Anna Zepp

Mrs. Anna Hardy Zepp, 82, of St. Charles, Illinois, and a former Wapello County and Ottumwa, Iowa resident, died Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Delnor Hospital in St. Charles, Illinois. She was the daughter of Frank and Matilda Fritz Hardy, and was born at Blakesburg, July 3, 1885. A resident of Ottumwa for many years, she moved to Chicago in 1952, and has been a resident of St. Charles for the past 10 months. She was a member of St. Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Church in Chicago. Surviving are one son, William H. Zepp of St. Charles; five daughters, Mrs. Virginia Reed and Mrs. Jeanne Hamerle, both of Chicago; Mrs. Mary Louise Pedigo of Ottumwa, Mrs. Betty Anderson of Rockford, Illinois, and Mrs. Matilda Watson of Omaha; 19 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Zepp on October 6, 1954. A funeral Mass will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in St. Charles, Illinois. The Rosary will be recited tonight at Norris and Sons' Funeral Home in St. Charles. The casket will be returned to Johnson Funeral Chapel late Sunday afternoon. Graveside services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Hoenig, assistant pastor at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Ottumwa, Officiating.
