Maralyn Dieter, 91 died on Thursday, August 18, 2011, after a short illness.
Mrs. Dieter was a long time resident of Alamogordo who worked in the accounting department of Holloman AFB for many years. Maralyn was a gardener, avid reader and devoted worker in the Episcopal Church, especially at the Church of the Ascension in Cloudcroft. She was a charter member of PEO Chapter BI and enthusiastically worked at the Alamogordo Senior Center after her retirement. She was involved in the Meals on Wheels program there.
She is preceded in death by husband Rolf.
Mrs. Dieter will be mourned and missed by her family: son, Bob and Amy Williamson; grandchildren, Barbara and Bill Milani and Steve Williamson; great grandchildren, Elena and Alex Williamson and Hana Milani, all of Albuquerque and Barbara and Bob Fizer of Wichita Kansas. The family would like to thank the staff of the Regional Medical Center for their kindness. We especially thank John Williams for his care and concern for Maralyn.
Memorial service will be held at the Alamogordo Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 10 AM with Rev. Dr. Thomas Arrowsmith-Lowe officiating.

The family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation will take place at PCS.
