Nola Alice, the 20 month-old baby of Bert Beebe and wife of Wiota died at the home of its grandparents, R. D. Vernon and wife, in Anita, at 5:15 this morning. The baby was taken sick with the measles sometime ago from which bronchi-pneumonia developed and there was very little done of it from the start. It seemed to get stronger though and the relatives thought at one time that there might be a chance, although the doctor never gave them much encouragement. The parents, grandparents and other relatives have the sincere sympathy of the entire community here in their loss. The funeral services will be held at the Vernon home on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock. Interment will be made in Evergreen Cemetery.
