Ona M. Pearson, 89, a resident of Valley View Manor since 1976 died there Tuesday morning. Services are Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home with the Revs. Robert Ahlstrom and Lief Pohl officiating. Pallbearers are Marvin Krieger, Robert Phillips, Donald Carver and William Liebbe. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service on Thursday. Mrs. Pearson was born on July 18, 1896 in Blakesburg, a daughter of Henry and Millie Barnes Fritz. Her marriage to Dr. Roy Pearson took place May 1, 1920 in Des Moines. Survivors include one son, Robert R. Pearson, Denver, Colorado seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons and one brother.
